Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

1. Overview

Right Click CPS Test is designed as a privacy-conscious, client-side browser utility for testing right-click speed, consistency, and input response. We prioritize user privacy and transparency in how data is processed, saved, and delivered across our application.

2. Information We Collect

Our application logic runs locally within your web browser. The CPS test itself does not send your test results, click history, personal bests, or click timing data to our servers.

We do not require account registration, login credentials, email subscriptions, or personal profiles to access the test tools or features.

3. Right-Click Test & Mouse Data

During a test, the application temporarily processes right-click events in your browser to calculate your CPS (clicks per second), interval timing, and performance statistics. These mouse input events are processed in real-time within your browser JavaScript engine to render live feedback and test summaries. They are used strictly to generate your result and are not uploaded to our servers.

Additionally, our Browser Input Diagnostics feature displays technical information about mouse events received by your browser. This information is processed locally and is not intended to diagnose physical mouse hardware or track user activity outside the active window.

4. Browser Local Storage

We use your browser localStorage to save personal best scores, recent test history, and selected test duration preferences.

  • What is stored: Test duration settings, score history, and personal best CPS records.
  • Where it is stored: Exclusively in your local web browser storage.
  • How to clear: You can reset history anytime using the Clear History button or through your browser settings.

5. Hosting & Server Infrastructure

When you visit rightclickcpstest.com, standard web server access logs may temporarily record basic technical metadata such as your IP address, browser user-agent, operating system, and requesting timestamp. These logs are used exclusively for network security, DDoS prevention, and ensuring site reliability.

6. Third-Party Services

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not use intrusive cross-site tracking scripts. Any privacy-conscious analytics services utilized serve solely to measure aggregated visitor counts and page performance.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Because your test data is stored exclusively in your browser localStorage, you maintain complete control over its retention. Clearing your browser cache or site data permanently removes all stored test records.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect improvements in our tools or legal requirements. The updated date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
